The Social Media Unit of the Health Promotion Bureau (HPB) is a leading platform for health communication, recognized for its extensive reach with over 625,000 Facebook followers. The unit played a key role during the COVID-19 pandemic, combating misinformation with timely and accurate updates. We provide specialized training for health professionals in social media use and collaborate with other departments to create and run impactful campaigns. With cost-effective strategies and fast, audience-centric communication, our efforts ensure measurable results in promoting public health.
Currently The Health Promotion Bureau is present in a wide range of social media platforms including Facebook (with over 600 000 followers, Viber (with nearly 500 000 followers), Twitter, YouTube and Instagram.
